'Same-handedness'

apartheidstudies.substack.com

“Same-handedness” is a construct in the new field of Apartheid Studies (AS) that demonstrates that a human being does not need a new set of hands to complete a sequence of opposing actions. Rather, a human being destroys and kills with the same hands that build, heal and cure. In fact, sometimes, all one needs to complete this nonsuperimposable chirality is just to wash one’s hands. To read more about the notion of “same hands” or “same-handedness”, and how this is critical to understanding contradictions in social and economic organisation, please read Chapter 2 of my book, Apartheid Studies: A Manifesto a copy of which can be ordered here: https://africaworldpressbooks.com/apartheid-studies
